Job summary

RHL Recruitment Australia partners with a Sydney-based multidisciplinary product development consultancy to recruit an Electronics Design Engineer. This role spans the complete development lifecycle, from concept and proof of principle through to commercialisation and production, across diverse industries.

You will join a collaborative team and contribute to electronic product design, system architecture, schematic capture, PCB layout, embedded hardware, prototyping, testing, DFM and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or equivalent.
• Experience developing commercially manufactured electronic products.
• Strong PCB design experience, ideally using Altium Designer.
• Solid understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
• Embedded systems and microcontroller experience.
• Hands‑on prototyping, testing and debugging capability.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

The Role

Working within a collaborative team of Industrial Designers, Mechanical Engineers and Product Development Specialists, you will contribute to the design and development of innovative electronic products for a broad range of industries. This role offers exceptional variety, with the opportunity to work on multiple projects simultaneously rather than being confined to a single product or industry sector.
