PPK Mining Equipment Pty Ltd, a Tomago-based OEM serving the mining sector, is seeking a reliable Electronics Assembler. You will assemble electronic components per manufacturing approvals and work with technicians to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities include repairing and encapsulating components, assisting in manufacturing and repair activities, ensuring quality control, supporting the electronics production supervisor, and following all safety protocols.

We have a world-class manufacturing and service centre at Tomago near Newcastle, a market-leading service and support centre at Port Kembla in Wollongong, a service centre at Mt Thorley in the Hunter Valley coal fields, & a parts distribution hub in Mackay, QLD.

The role

We are seeking a reliable and competent Electronics Assembler to join our Tomago team, helping meet key objectives and busy demand. The ideal candidate will prove to us that they have strong attention to detail with a positive attitude that will ensure our continued success.

• The assembly of electronic components as per manufacturing approvals
• Working in conjunction with technicians, tradespersons and supervisors to meet customer demand
• Repairing electronic components
• The encapsulation of electronic components
• Assisting in the manufacturing and repair of electronic components
• Ensuring quality control expectations are consistently met
• Assisting the electronics production supervisor as required
• Adhering to all safety management protocols
• Experience that meets the main responsibilities listed
• A current NSW driver’s license
• Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
