Job summary

AustCorp Executive in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team. You’ll service, maintain and repair access control, intruder alarms and CCTV systems across a range of commercial environments.

Applicants should have around four years of electronic security experience with hands-on Integriti/Tecom, strong fault-finding capabilities and a current Victorian security licence. A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel to CBD and outer suburbs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Around four years’ experience in electronic security with a strong service and maintenance background.
• Hands-on experience with Integriti and/or Tecom.
• Confident fault-finding across access control, alarms and CCTV.
• Victorian security licence, ACMA cabling registration and a current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

An established electronic security integrator is looking for an experienced Service Technician to join its Melbourne team.

This role suits someone with at 3 least years’ electronic security experience who enjoys fault finding, resolving technical issues and building relationships with customers.

The role

You’ll carry out servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs across access control, intruder alarms and CCTV systems in a range of commercial environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing and resolving faults across electronic security systems
• Completing scheduled maintenance and service calls
• Programming, testing and replacing equipment as required
• Keeping customers informed and completing service documentation
• Working independently and drawing on support from the wider technical team

About you

• Around four years’ experience in electronic security, with a strong service and maintenance background
• Hands-on experience with Integriti and/or Tecom
• Confident fault-finding across access control, alarms and CCTV
• Good communication skills and a practical approach to customer service
• Relevant Victorian security licence, ACMA cabling registration and a current driver’s licence
