Job summary

Epiroc is seeking a hands-on Product Technician to join our Manufacturing team in Perth, WA. you will assemble electronic products, wiring harnesses, and sub-assemblies, following production drawings and work instructions to ensure quality and safety across all steps.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will contribute to delivering innovative technology to customers while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and supporting other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic, electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing assembly.
• Confidence using hand and power tools.
• Soldering and wiring experience is highly regarded.
• Ability to read assembly drawings or work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Focus on workplace safety and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, products, and sub-assemblies to specification.
• Read and interpret work orders, production drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Use hand and power tools to crimp, solder, rivet, bolt, screw, and secure components.
• Assemble and install electronic components, wiring, connectors, and harnesses.
• Manufacture wiring looms and cable harnesses, including terminating connectors.
• Complete assembly processes including bonding, encapsulating, curing, cleaning, and finishing.
• Install completed assemblies into enclosures and fit associated hardware.
• Perform quality checks and adjustments to meet electrical and dimensional requirements.
• Safely perform manual handling tasks and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Support the Production team with other duties as required.
