Job summary

Tassal is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team at the Lidcombe seafood processing facility. This permanent afternoon shift (12:00pm - 8:00pm) role focuses on keeping production operations running safely and efficiently, with overtime and Saturday work as required.

Key duties include responding to breakdowns, preventive maintenance, reading electrical schematics, and collaborative troubleshooting with the wider maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Electrical Licence is required.
• Trade qualification as Electrician is required.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, food production or similar environments.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and a practical, hands-on approach.
• Flexibility to support occasional overtime and Saturday work.

Responsibilities

• Respond to electrical breakdowns and equipment faults.
• Carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
