Job summary

Coates Erskine Park is seeking an Electrician to service and repair electrical components of equipment, ensuring readiness and safety for hire at the Sydney branch.

You will work with the mechanical team, perform calibrations, fault finding, and preventative maintenance while maintaining strong customer communication and ensuring stock levels of parts are managed effectively.

Qualifications

• Must hold Mechanical Trade Certificate and an Electrical Licence (Restricted or A Grade).
• Proven troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventive maintenance on electrical plant/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain a wide range of electrical plant and equipment at the branch.
• Carry out electrical calibrations on equipment as required.
• Repair equipment following trade practices to a high standard.
• Undertake electrical fault finding and diagnostics, rectify faults as required.
• Keep customers notified and up to date on their service requirements.
• Assist in maintaining stocks of spare parts and consumables.

As an Electrician based at Coates Erskine Park you will be responsible for the servicing and repair of the electrical components of equipment, ensuring equipment at the branch is ready, fit, and safe for hire. Work alongside the mechanical team, ensuring our equipment is electrically ready for hire.

Your Typical Day Will Focus On

• Service and maintenance of a wide range of electrical plant and equipment at the branch Carry out electrical calibrations on equipment as required
• Repair equipment as necessary following accepted trade practices maintaining a high standard
• Undertake electrical fault finding and diagnostics, rectify faults as required
• Keep customers notified and up to date in relation to their equipment service requirements
• Assist in maintaining correct levels of required electrical stocks of spare parts

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• Mechanical Trade Certificate with a minimum Restricted Electrical Licence or "A" Grade Electrical Licence with proven strong mechanical skill set
• Demonstrated skills in troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance on access, materials handling, power generation, dewatering, earthmoving and other construction plant & equipment
• Customer orientated approach
• Forklift and EWP ticket (desirable)
