Job summary

Janus Electric seeks a skilled Electrician for our Central Coast facility to support zero-emission truck tech and our swappable battery network.

You will inspect, test, repair, install and modify electrical systems, read blueprints, use diagnostic tools, and collaborate with tradespeople while maintaining safety standards.

A strong apprenticeship and 5+ years' experience, plus a valid driver’s license, are required, with overtime availability.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Year 12 and Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
• Minimum 5+ years electrical experience with a valid driver's licence.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and diagrams and apply electrical theory.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, diagnose issues with electrical systems and components.
• Troubleshoot problems and perform timely repairs.
• Provide labouring assistance to tradespeople and operators using hand/power tools.
• Install, maintain and enhance electrical systems and components including wiring and lighting.
• Ensure work aligns with codes, blueprints and standards; test systems for correct operation.
• Complete documentation of repairs, service information and parts used.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Maintain safety procedures and a safe work environment.
