Janus Electric seeks a skilled Electrician for our Central Coast facility to support zero-emission truck tech and our swappable battery network.

You will inspect, test, repair, install and modify electrical systems, read blueprints, use diagnostic tools, and collaborate with tradespeople while maintaining safety standards.

A strong apprenticeship and 5+ years' experience, plus a valid driver’s license, are required, with overtime availability.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Year 12 and Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
• Minimum 5+ years electrical experience with a valid driver's licence.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and diagrams and apply electrical theory.

Responsabilités

Janus Electric is revolutionising heavy transport by converting diesel trucks to electric and building a national swappable battery network. We are scaling fast and need a skilled, detail-oriented Electrician to help bring our next generation of zero-emission trucks to life at our Central Coast facility.

We are seeking for an Electricians who will be responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical components and systems in the Janus Electric Side Battery and Janus Charge & Change Station.

What You Will Do:

Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components, troubleshooting problems and making timely repairs.

Provide general labouring assistance to qualified tradespeople, contractors, and operators by operating hand and power tools.

Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring.

Perform all work in line with electrical codes, blueprints, and standards, testing systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.

Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components

Calibrate equipment to provided specifications and carry out preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components.

Complete required documentation of repairs, service information, and parts used.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Test electrical systems and components to ensure they are functioning correctly

Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.

What You Bring:

Year 12 High School Certificate and Completion of Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820) as part of an apprenticeship.

5+ years of electrical experience, with a valid driver's licence.

Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams, with a solid working knowledge of electrical theory, materials, and equipment.

Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools associated with electrical work.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to calculate basic mathematical problems.

Great people and communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.

High level of mobility and willingness to work overtime as required.
