In this role you will work within our warehouse in a small team to assemble, wire and test electrical switchboards.

Responsibilities will include:

Assembly and wiring of LV switchboards, including main switchboards, distribution boards and control panels.

Interpret and work from electrical schematics, layout drawings, and component schedules.

Install and connect electrical components such as circuit breakers, contactors, and relays, meters

Perform continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing of switchboards.

Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000, 61439 and other relevant standards.

Identify and resolve wiring or component issues during build and testing phases.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate builds and timely delivery.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to B&R's safety policies and procedures.

Support the training of electrical apprentices in their development through on-the-job training.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a reliable, team player who is able to work as part of the Electrical Integration team, with a high attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

To be successful in this role, you must:

Current NSW Electrical License

Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.

Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and switchboard construction.

Experience in switchboard manufacturing or industrial electrical work - highly desirable.

Familiarity with AS/NZS 3000, 61439 and other relevant standards.
