Job summary

Switchboard Electrician – Custom Switchboard Manufacturing at CINC Switchboards in Brisbane (QLD) seeks an experienced tradesperson to join our workshop team. You will wire, test and troubleshoot high-quality, custom switchboards and control panels across Pump Stations, LV Main and metering panels.

Applicants must hold a current QLD Electrical Fitter licence, LVR/CPR and White Card, with experience in bus bar assembly, reading schematics and an ability to work accurately in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience with switchboard manufacturing and testing.
• Ability to read/schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of wiring rules/regulations.
• Current QLD Electrical Fitter Licence and CPR/LVR.
• Valid White Card for site access.

Responsibilities

• Wiring and testing of electrical switchboards and control panels.
• Assist with bus bar assembly and panel finishing.
• Read and interpret schematic diagrams to ensure correct fabrication.
• Work in a fast-paced workshop environment and support apprentices.

The role will involve dealing with the wiring and testing of electrical switchboards and control panels for, but not limited to:

• Pump Station Switchboards
• LV Main Switchboards
• Supply Authority Metering Panels
• Light & Power Distribution Switchboards

To be eligible for the role you will be/have:

• Previous experience with Switchboard Manufacturing
• Switchboard Testing and Quality
• Experience in Bus Bar Assembly
• Previous experience in cutting, punching and bending busbar
• Current QLD Electrical Fitter licence
• Current QLD drivers licence and reliable car
• Current LVR/CPR certificate
• White card
• The ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high pressure environment
• The ability to read schematic diagrams
• Knowledge of wiring rules and regulations
• Ability to work autonomously in a team environment, and to be a good role model for apprentices
