Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a fixed plant electrical tradesperson at Cowal Gold Operations to safely execute planned and breakdown maintenance across the processing plant and infrastructure.

Based at Cowal, you will fault-find, repair and perform preventative maintenance to maximise reliability, support shutdowns, and work with operations and maintenance teams to achieve safe, reliable plant performance.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Qualification and unrestricted Electrical Licence.
• Experience in fixed plant, processing or heavy industrial maintenance.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and safe work practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Exposure to MCCs, VSDs, PLCs and instrumentation; HV Switching, Hazardous Area or Instrumentation qualifications highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned and breakdown electrical maintenance activities safely and efficiently.
• Perform fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability.
• Identify, report and rectify equipment defects and abnormal operating conditions.
• Support shutdowns, major maintenance activities and equipment commissioning.
• Maintain compliance with site safety standards, isolation procedures and electrical regulations.
• Provide accurate maintenance feedback and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to achieve safe and reliable plant performance.
