Job summary

Whitehaven Coal—Maules Creek Mine (NSW) is seeking an electrical trades professional to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a fleet of heavy mining equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with site standards.

You will operate across workshop and field environments, performing diagnostics and repairs with minimal supervision, while contributing to a culture of safety and teamwork. This permanent role offers career development and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency certificate or diploma in electrical trade.
• Supervisor Certificate or Contractors Licence or equivalent interstate licence.
• Experience in mining or heavy industry or processing plant preferred.
• Strong problem solving, diagnostic and fault finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and unplanned maintenance on mobile mining equipment and infrastructure.
• Work effectively across workshop and team environments.
• Demonstrate visible safe working practices and a commitment to safety in the workplace.
• Work with minimal supervision and carry out assigned work orders.
