Job summary

Evolution Mining’s Cowal site is seeking a Tradesperson – Electrical Instrumentation to maintain and calibrate critical process equipment. You will work with Vega density gauges, Yokogawa sensors, and Siemens PLCs within a diverse gold processing operation, reporting to the Electrical Supervisor.

You’ll diagnose faults, respond to plant breakdowns, and lead shutdown activities while mentoring apprentices, contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technician with experience in heavy industry/mining environments.
• Strong safety culture and ability to work with high-voltage equipment.
• Willingness to lead shutdown activities and mentor apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and calibrate equipment such as Vega density gauges, Yokogawa pressure sensors, and Siemens PLCs.
• Diagnose faults and respond to breakdowns across the processing plant.
• Lead shutdown activities and mentor apprentices when needed.
