Job summary

Next Day Recruitment is seeking 2 Trades Assistants to support a team of skilled trades professionals and engineers at a busy production plant on Sydney's North Shore. The roles involve assisting with the setup and operation of machinery and building electrical products with on‑the‑job training.

You will follow a structured training path, keep a clean work area, perform manual tasks, and adhere to safety procedures in a fast-paced environment, starting at 7am with 8‑hour shifts plus overtime.

Qualifications

• Physical dexterity and the ability to follow a plan.

Responsibilities

• Support a team of skilled trades professionals and engineers in an active production plant.
• Assist in the setup and operation of machinery.
• Build and modify electrical products (training provided).
• Follow a formal training path created by the company.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform manual labor tasks as required.
• Adhere to safety procedures.
• Must be able to start at 7am, 8 hours days + Over Time
