Job summary

Worthwhile Recruiting partners with a leader in Industrial Automation and Electrical Engineering in Sydney, Australia. We seek an Electrical Tester with switchboard experience to join the team.

The ideal candidate will have strong switchboard testing, schematic interpretation, and a commitment to safety and quality. Training is provided across the production cycle, from wiring switchboards on the factory floor to testing and PLC-related programming.

Qualifications

• Experience in building main switchboards, distribution boards and control panels.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
• Must be safety conscious and promote a safe environment.
• Must be reliable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical functionality testing on electrical panels per documentation.
• Inspect electrical control panels per schematic/BOM.
• Complete QC documentation.
• Programming of control boards and PLCs where required.
