Job summary

Chubb Fire & Security Australia is seeking qualified electricians to service fire protection systems across our current and new customer base in Sydney. This role involves installation, modification, commissioning and repair of fire detection, warning systems, smoke alarms and exit lights.

Ideal candidates hold an Electrical Trade Qualification and current Electrical Licence, with a valid Driver’s licence. Experience in the fire protection industry is advantageous; pre-employment checks apply.

Responsibilities

About The Role

You will have responsibility for fire systems across our current and new customer base.

This Will Involve

• Liaise with Chubb staff, customers and clients in regard to technical support and administration.
• Mentor and assist other members of the team to facilitate client needs.
• Ensure jobs are completed in a safe manner and all safety paperwork is done as required by technicians.
• Coordination and facilitation of the day-to-day operation of the Team
• Installation, Modification, Commissioning and repair of Fire Detection, Warning Systems, Smoke Alarms & Emergency / Exit lights
• Inspection and testing of fire systems in accordance with AS 1851
• Assisting in growing our customer base by identifying and following up on opportunities
• Customer liaison providing assistance where required
• Provide recommendations to customers on fire protection systems and equipment

About You

• Experience working as an Electrical Technician, ideally in the Fire industry
• Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR)
• Current Electrical Licence - mandatory
• Current Driver’s licence - mandatory
• Current Cabling Licence – ideal
• Electrical Trade Qualification – ideal
• Previous experience in the Fire Protection Industry is advantageous.
• Able to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.
• Great attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client base.
• Hardworking and reliable
• Experience in a customer facing role.
