Job summary

Chubb Fire & Security Australia is seeking qualified/licensed Electricians in Sydney to join our fire protection team. You will work across fire detection, alarm and suppression systems on diverse customer sites while enjoying a stable, global employer.

The role requires a current Electrical Licence, a valid Driver's licence, and ideally a Cabling Licence. Experience as an Electrical Technician in the Fire industry is preferred, with a focus on safety, customer service and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience working as an Electrical Technician, ideally in the Fire industry.
• Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR).
• Current Electrical Licence - mandatory.
• Current Driver's licence - mandatory.
• Current Cabling Licence - ideal.
• Electrical Trade Qualification - ideal.
• Previous experience in the Fire Protection Industry is advantageous.
• Able to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.
• Great attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client base.
• Hardworking and reliable.
• Experience in a customer facing role.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Chubb staff, customers and clients regarding technical support and administration.
• Mentor and assist other team members to facilitate client needs.
• Ensure jobs are completed safely and all safety paperwork is completed as required by technicians.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Team Installation, Modification, Commissioning and repair of Fire Detection, Warning Systems, Smoke Alarms & Emergency/Exit lights.
• Inspect and test fire systems in accordance with AS 1851.
• Assist in growing our customer base by identifying and following up on opportunities.
• Provide recommendations to customers on fire protection systems and equipment.

About the Role

You will have responsibility for fire systems across our current and new customer base. This will involve:

• Liaise with Chubb staff, customers and clients in regard to technical support and administration.

About You

Experience working as an Electrical Technician, ideally in the Fire industry

Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR)

Electrical Trade Qualification - ideal
