Evolution Mining is seeking an Electrical Technician at Northparkes Operations to maintain and improve the reliability of underground mining infrastructure and equipment. You will join the Electrical Maintenance team, performing planned and breakdown maintenance while supporting safe and efficient operations.

You will bring an Electrical Trade Qualification and NSW Electrical Licence, with experience in mining or heavy industry and strong fault-finding skills.

What’s the opportunity?

As an Electrical Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving the reliability of underground mining infrastructure and equipment across Northparkes Operations. Working as part of the Electrical Maintenance team, you’ll perform planned and breakdown maintenance while supporting safe and efficient underground operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and repairing underground electrical infrastructure and equipment
• Supporting underground communication systems, including leaky feeder networks
• Conducting fault-finding, repairs and preventative maintenance activities
• Working on HV and LV electrical systems across site
• Assisting with shutdowns, installations and improvement projects
• Contributing to equipment reliability and maintenance best practices
• Maintaining a strong safety culture and complying with site procedures

This position is offered on a 4:3 or 7:7 roster.
