The role covers renewables, power systems, infrastructure and commercial ventures, guiding tenders and business development while upholding Australian standards and safety commitments.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years' experience in electrical engineering
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in consultancy environments and complex projects
• Strong experience across power systems and electrical engineering
• Exposure to renewable energy projects (solar, wind, BESS)
• Knowledge of HV/MV/LV systems and grid connections
• Experience with electrical design and EBOP
• Exposure to LV building services electrical design
• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills
• Experience contributing to tenders, proposals or BD
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical direction across electrical projects
• Review and oversee electrical designs and deliverables
• Guide on complex engineering and design issues
• Support projects from concept to detailed design and delivery
• Work across renewables, power systems, infrastructure and commercial projects
• Support tenders, proposals and new business opportunities
• Build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships
• Mentor and develop engineers and future leaders
• Identify technical risks and ensure safety and quality
• Collaborate with leadership on strategy and growth
• Help develop technical standards and capabilities
