Job summary

GrainCorp seeks an Electrical Team Leader to manage the Electrical & Services team at the Numurkah site, ensuring reliable plant performance and progress on improvement targets.

You will lead a small team of electricians and external contractors, coordinate maintenance of automated production equipment, and drive safety and root cause analysis in a day shift role supporting a 24x7 manufacturing plant.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified electrician with manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lead and mentor a small team and external contractors.
• Experience overseeing maintenance with automated production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise routine electrical trades and services contractors.
• Maintain equipment safety systems and ensure electrical and services equipment is installed and maintained safely and compliantly.
• Participate in SHE engagement conversations and safety walks.
• Lead root cause analysis for automation and controls faults and engage 3rd party specialists as required.
• Lead electrical and automation projects.

GrainCorp is currently seeking an Electrical Team Leader to manage the Electrical & Services team to ensure reliable plant performance and meet improvement targets. This position will be located our our Numurkah site. Responsibilities will include:

• Co-ordinate and supervise routine electrical trades and services contractors
• Maintain equipment safety systems and ensure electrical and services equipment is installed and maintained in a safe and compliant state
• Participate in SHE engagement conversations and safety walks
• Lead root cause analysis for automation and controls faults and engage 3rd party specialist contractors as required
• Lead electrical and automation project

Please note: This is primarily a day shift position, managing a team that supports a 24x7 manufacturing plant

About your experience

Candidates will be trade qualified as an electrician with manufacturing experience. This role will provide an opportunity to build on your leadership skills by managing a small team of electricians and external contractors to support the GrainCorp canola oil manufacturing plant. Candidates will also display:
