Job summary

GrainCorp is seeking an Electrical Team Leader to manage the Electrical & Services team at our Numurkah site, ensuring reliable plant performance and driving improvement targets. You will coordinate electricians and external contractors while promoting safety and compliance across all electrical assets.

The role combines hands-on maintenance with leadership of a small team, focusing on automation and control reliability within a 24x7 manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing maintenance works, working with automated production equipment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Capability to lead and mentor a team.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and supervise routine electrical trades and services contractors
• Maintain equipment safety systems and ensure electrical and services equipment is installed and maintained in a safe and compliant state
• Participate in SHE engagement conversations and safety walks
• Lead root cause analysis for automation and controls faults and engage 3rd party specialist contractors as required
• Lead electrical and automation project
