Job summary

GrainCorp at its Numurkah Crushing Facility seeks a Project Engineer (Electrical and Automation) to lead capital projects from concept through commissioning, delivering improvements in automation, electrical infrastructure and process control.

The role offers ownership across safety, reliability and growth initiatives with exposure to GNE-wide automation and digital transformation strategies. Hybrid work and collaborative environment are provided.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience delivering industrial capital projects.
Experience with PLC/SCADA/HMI platforms.
Ability to prepare project scopes, budgets, schedules and business cases.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience managing multiple projects or tasks.
Capable of resolving issues effectively.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop opportunities to improve site safety, reliability, productivity and compliance.
Support GrainCorp's automation strategy and digital transformation initiatives.
Manage capital projects ranging between $20k to +$1M.
Provide whole of lifecycle project management.
Liaise with other departments to ensure effective project delivery.
Develop electrical and automation standards for new installations and modifications.
Provide technical leadership for electrical and automation projects.
