Job summary

GrainCorp is seeking a permanent Maintenance Electrician based at Narrabri or Moree, NSW. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will undertake electrical maintenance, repairs, installation, testing, tagging and breakdown management across multiple sites during harvest periods.

Ideal candidates are hands-on electricians with proven electrical capabilities, comfortable working outdoors at varying locations, able to work independently, and focused on safety and record keeping.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with hands-on electrical capabilities.
• Experience across maintenance, repairs, installation, testing, tagging.
• Ability to work outdoors at varying locations and times.
• HR licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Attend sites to address breakdowns impacting operations.
• Prepare and submit maintenance reports.
• Maintain accurate records for compliance and safety.

GrainCorp is currently seeking a permanent Maintenance Electrician based at either Narrabri or Moree. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, with responsibility for undertaking electrical maintenance, repairs, validation, installation, testing, tagging and breakdown management. Due to the operational demands of the business, availability to work during the harvest season is essential.

Specifically, you’ll be responsible for:

• Fault finding and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Attending sites where equipment failure or breakdowns impact operations
• Preparing and submitting maintenance reports as required
• Accurate record keeping to support compliance and safety standards

About your experience

Candidates will be looking for a role that allows them the opportunity to work outdoors at varying locations with a large degree of autonomy!

This role willl appeal to a qualified Electrician who enjoys working independently across varying locations and taking ownership of their work. You will have proven, hands-on electrical capabilities and be proactive and safety focused. Computer literate, self-motivated and reliable, you’ll have solid time management abilities and a high standard of communication.

The ability to work at heights and within confined spaces is required. A HR licence would be preferred, but not essential.
