Job summary

MPA Engineering is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to oversee workshop and on-site electrical teams, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to high standards. You will lead electricians and apprentices, providing guidance, support, and hands-on expertise.

The role requires a qualified electrician with supervisory experience, strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations, and excellent leadership and communication skills. Right to work in Australia is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with a valid license.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ideally possessing or progressing to electrical contractors license.
• Proof of right to work in Australia

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and coordinate electrical workforce, balancing team resources.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Lead from the front in promoting an innovative culture.
• Provide leadership and support to a team of electricians and apprentices.
• Conduct site inspections and risk assessments.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Maintain a record of materials onsite and ensure stocks remain available for the continuation of the project.
