Job summary

MPA Engineering on the Gold Coast is seeking an Electrical Supervisor/Leading Hand to oversee on-site electrical work, guide a team of electricians and apprentices, and ensure work is completed safely, on time and to high standards.

You will lead by example, conduct site inspections, coordinate with project managers and clients, troubleshoot issues, and maintain documentation and material stock to keep projects moving.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with a valid license.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Valid C class driver's license (preferably manual).

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking Electrical Leading Hand responsible for overseeing and coordinating electrical work on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You will lead a team of electricians and apprentices comprised of MPA personnel and sub-contractors, providing guidance, support, and hands-on expertise. You will also be required to help out on the tools with smaller task leading up to the start of the major construction activities.
