Job summary

MPA Engineering on the Gold Coast is seeking an Electrical Supervisor/Leading Hand to oversee on-site electrical work, guide a team of electricians and apprentices, and ensure work is completed safely, on time and to high standards.

You will lead by example, conduct site inspections, coordinate with project managers and clients, troubleshoot issues, and maintain documentation and material stock to keep projects moving.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with a valid license.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Valid C class driver's license (preferably manual).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical work on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Provide leadership and support to a team of electricians and apprentices.
• Conduct site inspections and risk assessments.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Maintain a record of materials onsite and ensure stocks remain available for the continuation of the project.
