Amazon Leo is seeking an electrical systems engineer to own the lifecycle of hardware programs from requirements through verification. You will coordinate with electrical, thermal, mechanical, and software teams to ensure performance, safety, and manufacturability.

You will drive trade studies, develop architecture and interfaces, author ConOps, and lead reliability analyses (FMEA) while supporting design reviews with clear technical rationale. This role is based in Redmond, WA.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in electrical hardware design.
• Experience in requirements definition, system architecture, and integration/verification.
• Experience with Matlab or Python to build models and perform trade studies.

Mansioni

• Define, manage, and trace electrical system requirements across the full development lifecycle.
• Develop electrical system architecture, interface definitions, and block diagrams.
• Author and maintain ConOps documents that align stakeholders across hardware and software domains.
• Lead FMEA and other reliability and safety analyses to identify and mitigate design risks.
• Drive verification and validation planning to confirm the design meets requirements.
• Coordinate across hardware, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams to resolve system-level trade-offs.
• Support design reviews with clear technical documentation and decision rationale.
