Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical wiring harnesses in switchboard assemblies.
• Build electrical component panels and terminate cabling to drawings.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics to spec.
• Maintain high safety standards and tidy workmanship.
• Support continuous improvement within the workshop.

We are seeking Electrical Switchboard Assemblers to join our clients manufacturing team in Heathwood.

You will be involved in the assembly of switchboards & control panels.

This role suits tradespeople or experienced trade assistants who are hands-on, detail-focused, and experienced in control wiring and the assembly of wiring harnesses within a switchboard manufacturing environment.

The Role

You will be involved in the assembly of switchboards & control panels.

This role suits tradespeople or experienced trade assistants who are hands-on, detail-focused, and experienced in control wiring and the assembly of wiring harnesses within a switchboard manufacturing environment.

The Role

• Assemble electrical wiring harnesses
• Build electrical component panels
• Terminate cabling to drawing and specification
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain WH&S standards at all times

Experience required:

• Switchboard assembly in a manufacturing or workshop environment
• Minimum 1-2 years of switchboard assembly experience in a professional manufacturing or workshop environment
• Assembly of wiring harnesses, installation, and component mounting
• Control wiring and meter panel wiring
• Modular and welded switchboard construction
• Interpreting electrical schematics, GA drawings, and wiring diagrams
• Working to Australian Standards and best manufacturing practices

You will also bring:

• A strong focus on quality, neat workmanship, and right-first-time builds
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• High safety awareness and disciplined work habits
• A practical, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and improve

Completed electrical trade qualification is preferred but not essential for this role.
