Job summary

Morson Edge seeks an Electrical Supervisor for a major infrastructure project in Australia. This 12-month contract role requires strong site supervision and coordination of electrical construction activities, with a focus on safety, quality and schedule adherence.

You will lead electrical subcontractors and on-site crews, review drawings and method statements, and collaborate with engineering and project teams to resolve issues. Australian licensing and site qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification and/or relevant electrical qualifications.
• Experience supervising electrical construction projects.
• Experience managing electrical subcontractors and site crews.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Experience working on major infrastructure, industrial, energy or construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Australian electrical safety and construction requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination and leadership skills.
• A proactive approach to safety, quality and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day electrical construction activities.
• Lead and coordinate electrical subcontractors, crews and site personnel.
• Monitor progress against project schedules and construction milestones.
• Ensure electrical works are completed safely and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and identify potential safety, quality and construction issues.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to resolve technical and site issues.
• Review electrical drawings, work packs, method statements and relevant documentation.
• Monitor contractor performance, productivity and compliance.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and project delivery.
• Provide regular updates on progress, issues and site activities.
