UGL’s Energy & Industrial team is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead site-based electrical construction on the Western Downs Project in Queensland. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will supervise crews, coordinate subcontractors and ensure safe, on-time delivery to contract specs.

This hands-on role operates on a DIDO/FIFO roster with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and stakeholder communication.

Formación

• Electrical Trade Qualification is required.
• Experience supervising electrical construction on major projects is essential.
• Experience with substations, HV works, renewables or major infra projects is highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate daily site-based electrical construction activities.
• Manage electrical crews, subcontractors and apprentices for productivity and quality.
• Oversee installation and termination of cables, earth grids, HV plant, switchgear and services.
• Coordinate works in live operational environments including substations.
• Lead toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and safety initiatives.
• Ensure HSSEQ, QA and project documentation requirements are met.
• Monitor progress, workforce performance and timesheets.
• Support workforce development, inductions and compliance training.
