Job summary

Redpath is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for the Olympic Dam Mine on a 14/14 FIFO roster. You will lead, mentor, and coordinate electrical teams to deliver project outcomes safely while maintaining operational excellence in an underground mining environment.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or relevant tertiary qualification (Electrical preferred).
• Proven experience in underground mining environments.
• Leadership experience managing crews in high risk environments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Current driver's licence and ability to obtain National Police Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical crews across installation, maintenance, testing, and repairs
• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and Work Procedures
• Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions
• Drive safety culture, ensuring correct PPE and safe work practices
• Contribute hands on when required—troubleshooting, installing, and repairing equipment
• Mentor and develop team members through coaching and performance management
• Plan and allocate resources effectively, including scheduling and forecasting
• Prepare cost forecasts and align with maintenance plans
• Build strong relationships with client representatives onsite
