Job summary

Redpath Mining seeks an experienced Electrician for underground development at Olympic Dam Mine, SA. You will work on jumbo rigs, loaders and related equipment, performing fault finding, maintenance and safety-critical electrical tasks on a 14/14 day roster.

Applicants must hold a current Electrical Licence, CPR/LVR certification (or ability to obtain), and a valid Police Check with Pre-Employment Medical. A positive, proactive safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience in underground development mining.
• Current Electrical Licence.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• CPR & LVR certification (or ability to obtain).
• Manual driver's licence.
• Ability to pass a Police Check and Pre Employment Medical.
• Positive, proactive attitude aligned with Redpath's motto: "Consider it done - safely."

About the Project

Redpath is expanding operations at the Olympic Dam Mine in South Australia, with the development of 4th and 5th portals and new declines from surface. This is a rare opportunity to work on one of the largest uranium and copper mining operations in the world, on a long term project with strong growth potential.

The Role

• Roster: 14 days on/14 days off (12 hour rotating shifts)
• Location: Olympic Dam Mine, SA
• Equipment: Jumbo's, Loaders, Agi trucks, Cable Bolters, Normet Shotcrete Rigs etc
