Job summary

ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture is seeking a dedicated Supervisor - Electrical for the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project. The role requires leadership of the Substations team, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance while coordinating with subcontractors and site crews.

The project involves 90km of 500kV lines and 150km of 330kV lines, with an anticipated operational date in 2028. Strong technical, communication, and regulatory skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in electrical project delivery environments.
• Experience on large-scale renewable energy substations 220kV+.
• Ability to work effectively with others and strong problem-solving skills.
• Understands specifications and drawings.
• Experience in managing subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and procedures.
• Demonstrated relevant leadership skills.
• Ensuring all relevant regulatory requirements are satisfied.
• Planning and organizing work schedules.
• Working knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation of same.
• Clear communication - verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all construction works meet specifications and relevant standards.
• Provides positive leadership to subcontractors, monitors and controls their performance and ensures the quality and standard of workmanship is performed.
• Adopts a zero tolerance to unsafe practices and ensures safety/environmental controls are followed.
• Participates in Safe Work Method Statements and JSA cards with crews and ensures controls are implemented.
• Drives commitment to quality top down and bottom up.
• Ensures Hold and Witness Points are completed prior to commencing work.
• Inducts workers on hazards and control measures before starting activities.
