Job summary

NHP Electrical Engineering Products is seeking an experienced Electrical Service Technician to join our Brisbane team. You will perform on-site diagnostics, maintenance, fault finding and upgrades on power products, while upholding safety standards and delivering professional service reports.

You will travel regionally and interstate as required, work flexible hours including weekends, and promote NHP solutions to customers.

Qualifications

• A-Grade Electrical Licence and strong electrical background (onsite/industrial/commercial).
• Proven onsite service experience in industrial or commercial settings.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
• Safety-focused approach – site and workshop safety.
• Strong written and verbal report writing skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally and interstate.
• Able to work flexible hours, weekends and after hours.
• Desirable: LV power distribution, variable speed drives, EV charging infrastructure, energy management or emergency lighting.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to safety standards and maintain a safe, tidy workplace.
• Perform service, maintenance, fault finding, upgrades, commissioning and testing of power products.
• Provide technical solutions and support to customers and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Produce timely and professional technical service reports.
• Participate in ongoing training to service new technology and products.
• Promote NHP products and solutions to customers.
• Complete administrative duties including fault reports and queries.
