Job summary

Perth Multi Electrics is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of commercial, industrial and mining projects across Western Australia. The role is based in Perth with travel to regional and FIFO project sites as required, managing projects from award through to handover, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget adherence and high standards.

• Demonstrated experience managing electrical construction projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication and client-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical projects from award through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Develop and maintain project programs, budgets, forecasts and cost reports.
• Coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors, plant and equipment.
• Monitor project performance, productivity and commercial outcomes.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications and scope requirements.
• Identify, price and manage variations, extensions of time and contractual notices.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Lead project supervisors, site teams and administrative personnel.
• Conduct site visits, progress meetings and project reviews.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, Australian Standards, client requirements and company procedures.
• Manage project documentation, including RFIs, procurement schedules, progress claims, variations and handover documentation.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all projects.
