Job summary

WSP is seeking an electrical engineering leader for mining projects in Western Australia. You will guide delivery on sustaining capital and brownfield work, mentoring engineers and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to meet safety and quality standards.

The role emphasises client relationships, technical excellence, and the ability to navigate complex project scopes from concept to execution in a dynamic mining environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven experience delivering electrical projects in mining/resource industries.
• Strong leadership of engineering teams across multidisciplinary delivery.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering delivery on sustaining capital and brownfield mining projects.
• Provide technical direction, oversight and mentorship to engineers and designers.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules and quality outcomes.
• Develop and review electrical designs, calculations and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across mining, mechanical, structural, civil and process.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as trusted advisor.
• Support proposals, project planning and business development activities.
• Contribute to larger study and execution projects as opportunities arise.
