Job summary

Downer in Brisbane is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead major electrical, communications and mechanical infrastructure projects from design through commissioning. You will be responsible for safe, on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality, supporting clients and project teams across Downer Energy & Utilities.

The role offers growth within a major ASX-listed company and requires a track record of managing complex projects in the construction sector, especially water, with a focus

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification specialised in Electrical.
• Tertiary qualification in Project Management.
• Leadership qualifications (Frontline Management or the like).
• Minimum 5 years of complex project management experience within the Construction sector, specifically Water.
• Experience in Management of safety, quality and environmental issues.
• Sub-contractor management.
• Financial management and reporting, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Production & Productivity reporting.
• Proven team management and leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience driving & achieving results.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality electrical, communications, and mechanical infrastructure projects across the full lifecycle from design and construction through to delivery and commissioning.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams across Downer Energy & Utilities.
