Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to lead electrical, communications, control systems, and OT infrastructure for a major mining and infrastructure program in Brisbane.

You will oversee design, construction, commissioning and handover of remote operations control rooms, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget, through effective collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or electrical trade with project delivery experience.
• Experience delivering electrical infrastructure in mining/resources or heavy industry.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with remote operations, communications networks, automation or OT is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of electrical infrastructure and remote operations projects.
• Manage development and execution of stockpile remote operations control rooms.
• Coordinate electrical, communications, networking, OT and control systems interfaces.
• Manage engineering consultants, contractors, vendors and project budgets.
• Ensure compliance with site safety requirements, engineering standards and governance.
• Support commissioning, operational readiness activities, training and handover.
• Engage with stakeholders across operations, maintenance, technology and project teams.
