Job summary

Core Talent in Sydney partnered with a Tier 1 electrical contractor delivering large scale design and construct projects across Sydney. An experienced Electrical Project Engineer is needed to support the delivery of multiple ASP 1 and other HV infrastructure projects.

In this role, you will focus on the design review, documentation and technical delivery of HV electrical systems from post-sales through to project completion for ASP 1 and other HV infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code relating to electrical services.
• Worked on ASP 1 or other HV projects.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the successful delivery of the electrical scope of work.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project proposals to ensure work aligns with design criteria.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and surveillance to verify work meets safety and quality standards.
• Provide Project support, on-site construction support and commissioning technical support.

Due to multiple project wins the business is experiencing strong growth and requires an experiencedElectrical Project Engineer to support the delivery of multiple ASP 1 and other infrastructure projects

In this role, you will focus on the design review, documentation and technical delivery of HV electrical systems from post-sales through to project completion for ASP 1 and other HV infrastructure projects. You will work closely with project managers, site teams and external stakeholders to ensure systems are compliant, efficientand value engineered as well as being delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years experience as an Electrical Engineer
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code relating to electrical services
• Worked on ASP 1 or other HV projects
• Advanced technical skills and ability in MS Office, AutoCAD, Power CAD, AGI32, REVIT, Revisto and Bluebeam.
