Job summary

Randstad is partnering with a major energy player to recruit a Senior Project Engineer to lead electrical engineering activities on HV infrastructure and utility-scale renewable energy projects across Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

Join a highly capable project delivery team and play a key role from conception through to commissioning, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, subcontractors and clients while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years experience in electrical engineering, project engineering and HV project delivery.
• Registered with Engineers Australia.
• Experience on large scale infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
• Site and project engineering with NSPs, coordination and multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
• Oversee design reviews, installation, commissioning and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and clients to achieve milestones.
• Drive safety, quality and environmental outcomes in line with standards.
• Provide technical expertise and mentor junior engineers.

Work on exciting utility-scale renewable energy projects from conception through to commissioning/handover with one of Australia's leading energy players.

I am partnering with a client with a very strong project pipeline across HV infrastructure, renewable energy projects, and more. They have a strong brand name with proven excellence in delivering projects. With a long-standing history in the Australian market and strong industry relationships, they are a go to for their clients and partners.

About The Role:

Working with the Project Delivery team, the Senior Project Engineer will help deliver end-to-end HV infrastructure and utility-scale renewable energy projects. This is an exciting role for a candidate who wants to join a highly qualified and capable project delivery team with a strong brand and name in the market across their project partners. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage electrical engineering activities across the project lifecycle.

Your Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years experience in electrical engineering, project engineering, and HV project delivery
• Registered with Engineers Australia
• Experience on large scale complex infrastructure and renewable energy projects
• Site and project engineering experience with NSPs, coordination, multiple stakeholders, and sub contractors
• BESS project delivery experience (highly desirable)
