Morson Edge Australia, an established electrical contractor, seeks an Electrical Site Manager/Foreman to lead HV and LV construction on a major hospital project in Sydney's Inner West. You will manage large site teams, coordinate complex installations and drive safe, on-time delivery on a high-profile healthcare scheme.

Ideal candidates bring extensive HV/LV experience, strong leadership and a track record delivering major commercial or infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as Electrical Foreman, Supervisor or Site Manager in Australian electrical construction.
• Proven experience supervising HV & LV installations on major commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Hospital/healthcare or large-scale construction project experience is highly regarded.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day HV & LV electrical construction works on the hospital project in Sydney's Inner West.
• Supervise electrical tradespeople, Leading Hands and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient work per specifications.
• Coordinate HV/LV switchgear, substations, transformers, and main switchboards.
• Manage site programming, labour allocation, materials, and subcontractor activities.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers and other trades to align with construction program.
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate HV-related activities with authorised personnel, including isolations, testing, and energisation.
• Monitor site progress, productivity, quality assurance, and milestones.
• Ensure WHS compliance and HV/LV safety procedures per Australian Standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and site coordination conflicts.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, and final handover.

I am working with an established electrical contractor seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager / Foreman to join its Sydney team, overseeing High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical construction works on a major hospital project in Sydney's Inner West. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical professional with strong site leadership experience across HV & LV infrastructure, who enjoys managing large site teams, coordinating complex electrical installations and delivering technically challenging projects.

About You

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrical Foreman, Supervisor or Site Manager within the Australian electrical construction industry.
• Proven experience supervising HV & LV electrical installations on major commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience on hospital, healthcare or other large-scale construction projects highly regarded.
• Strong technical understanding of HV/LV switchgear, substations, transformers, switchboards, power distribution and associated electrical infrastructure.
• Experience managing electrical tradespeople, Leading Hands and subcontractors on large construction sites.
• Ability to interpret HV & LV electrical drawings, specifications, single-line diagrams and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction methodologies, site programming and project delivery.
• Experience coordinating electrical works with builders, engineers, consultants and other trades.
• Sound knowledge of Australian Electrical Standards, WHS regulations and HV/LV safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• NSW Electrical Licence and relevant HV training, authorisations or qualifications highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of HV & LV electrical construction works on a major hospital project in Sydney's Inner West.
• Supervise electrical tradespeople, Leading Hands and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to project specifications.
• Coordinate installations across HV/LV switchgear, substations, transformers, main switchboards, power distribution, cable containment and associated electrical services.
• Manage site programming, labour allocation, material requirements and subcontractor activities.
• Work closely with Project Managers, engineers, builders and other trades to ensure electrical works align with the construction program.
• Review HV & LV drawings, specifications and technical documentation to ensure accurate installation and compliance.
• Coordinate HV-related activities with appropriately authorised personnel, including isolations, testing, commissioning and energisation.
• Monitor site progress, productivity, quality assurance and project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, electrical safety procedures, SWMS and relevant Australian Standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, installation challenges and site coordination conflicts.
• Assist with inspections, testing, commissioning and final project handover.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in HV & LV electrical construction, with proven experience supervising electrical teams and delivering complex commercial or infrastructure projects. Previous hospital project experience and exposure to major electrical infrastructure installations will be highly regarded.
