Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our NSW Operations team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll provide technical expertise and engineering support across project and operational activities, delivering electrical construction, commissioning and maintenance safely and efficiently.

You will coordinate schedules, resources and documentation, review designs, and maintain quality records while building strong relationships with clients

Qualifications

• Australian recognised degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience delivering projects in energy, utilities, infrastructure or resources.
• Exposure to substations, HV electrical systems, protection, control or SCADA.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of electrical projects from planning through commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate project schedules, resources, procurement and technical activities.
• Monitor progress, manage risks and drive outcomes.
• Review electrical designs, drawings and documentation.
• Prepare and maintain quality and commissioning records.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Ensure safety, quality and environmental standards are met.
• Contribute to tendering, planning and continuous improvement.

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our NSW Operations team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Support the delivery of electrical projects from planning through to commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate project schedules, resources, procurement and technical activities.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and drive successful project outcomes.
• Review electrical designs, drawings and technical documentation.
• Prepare and maintain quality and commissioning documentation.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental and industry standards.
• Contribute to tendering, project planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you will bring:

• Australia recognised degree qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience delivering projects within the energy, utilities, infrastructure, industrial or resources sectors.
• Exposure to substations, HV electrical systems, protection, control and/or SCADA environments.
• Strong project coordination, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of project delivery principles.
• Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
