Job summary

TRILITY is seeking a Process Controller – Electrical at the Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre in Kemps Creek NSW. You will join the Operations team and be accountable for the operational performance of the AWRC, overseeing electrical and/or mechanical maintenance.

Based in Kemps Creek, you will work on a on-call roster (likely 1 in 5) and respond to telemetry alarms outside hours. Experience in wastewater operations and a current Australian driver’s license are valued; Cert 3 in

Qualifications

• Experience in operation and maintenance of wastewater or similar facilities.
• A current Australian Driver’s license.
• Be able to work on-call roster.
• Cert 3 in Water/Wastewater operations highly regarded and training provided.
• Be able to work independently for long periods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure TRILITY systems for Safety, Quality and Environment are used and that all activities undertaken comply with approved plans
• Oversee and participate in the commissioning of the facility.
• Be responsible for functional inspections and acceptance of mechanical and electrical equipment and verification of plant performance.
• Undertake electrical and/or mechanical maintenance activities (both planned and unplanned)
• Process control including ordering of chemicals and receiving deliveries, verifying documentation and liaising with the client on demand and flow changes
• Monitoring of plant performance including process equipment and responding to plant and process alarms
• Project management duties including liaising with suppliers and contractors, procurement of goods, materials and services, supervision of contractors, commissioning, risk assessments etc
• Conduct sampling and analysis and liaise with external laboratory(s) as required
