Job summary
WaterNSW is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Control Electrician to support and maintain essential water infrastructure across a diverse network of remote sites. This full-time, permanent role focuses on electrical, automation and communications systems, including SCADA, telemetry and power distribution.
The successful candidate will work hands-on, fault-find end-to-end, and provide specialist guidance on site-based automation projects while complying with Australian Standards and
Qualifications
- Qualified Electrical Supervisor Certificate is required.
- Experience with instrumentation, control systems and electrical/electromechanical equipment.
- Demonstrated fault-finding from SCADA servers to site instrumentation.
Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain and improve field instrumentation, automation and control systems including SCADA and communications networks.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical and automation issues to minimise downtime.
- Provide site-based expertise to support planning, design, testing and security of automation systems.
- Plan, procure and coordinate instrumentation and control works, ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes.
