Job summary

Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team in Fairfield 2165. The role focuses on the effective operation and maintenance of the recycled water treatment scheme, with emphasis on meeting quality, reliability, and safety targets.

You will monitor plant performance, respond to alarms, and perform preventive maintenance while ensuring compliance with WHS and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification is required.
• Water operations experience is preferred.
• Electrical and general maintenance experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain recycled water treatment plant to meet contractual KPIs.
• Monitor plant operations via SCADA systems and respond to alarms.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment overhauls.
• Participate in on-call roster and after-hours plant monitoring.
• Maintain accurate records using CMMS and business systems.
• Supervise contractors and manage work permits; ensure WHS and environmental compliance.
• Conduct sample collection and laboratory analysis.
