Job summary

Veolia ANZ in Fairfield, NSW seeks an experienced Electrical Plant Technician to operate and maintain the recycled water treatment plant. You will diagnose electrical, mechanical and process faults, perform preventative and reactive maintenance, and monitor SCADA alarms to keep production safe and compliant.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance and fault finding.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the recycled water treatment plant.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and process related faults.
• Complete preventative and reactive maintenance, repairs and upgrades.
• Monitor plant performance through SCADA and respond to alarms.
• Manage work permits and supervise maintenance contractors.
• Complete water sampling, onsite testing and laboratory analysis.
• Maintain work orders and asset records through the CMMS.
• Support plant optimisation, minor projects and continuous improvement.
