Job summary

Team Global Express is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Tradesperson for Hazelmere and Perth Airport bases. You will maintain automated sortation systems, address electrical and mechanical faults, and support continuous improvement on shift.

The role requires a strong electrical trades background with mechanical skills, ensuring safe, efficient operation of depot equipment and systems.

Qualifications

Experience maintaining complex industrial facilities.
Familiarity with PLC, VSD and SCADA installations.
Knowledge of carton and package handling conveyor systems.
Proficiency reading technical diagrams.
Experience with conveying equipment, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Ability to use MEX software effectively.
Participation in continuous improvement initiatives and project experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Fundamental computer skills.
Knowledge of WHS and Environmental Policies.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned maintenance for automated sortation systems and related freight handling equipment, ensuring maximum throughput.
Assist in designing innovative solutions for evolving operational and business needs.
Respond quickly to both mechanical and electrical faults on shift.
Undertake planned and unplanned mechanical tasks on plant equipment.
Maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (MEX).
Act and adherence to maintenance schedules.
Support operational teams to ensure system is functioning efficiently during shift.
Stock control of electrical parts inventory.
