Job summary

MPA Engineering Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast seeks an Electrical Leading Hand to oversee and coordinate on-site electrical work, leading a team of electricians and apprentices, including sub-contractors. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery of construction activities while contributing hands-on tasks as needed.

Ideal candidates are qualified electricians with a valid license and proven supervisory experience, able to liaise with project managers and clients.

Qualifications

Qualified electrician with a valid license.
Proven supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid C class driver's license (preferably manual).

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate electrical work on-site.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Provide leadership and support to a team of electricians and apprentices.
Conduct site inspections and risk assessments.
Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Maintain a record of materials onsite and ensure stocks remain available for the continuation of the project.
