Job summary

Crossmuller in Sydney is seeking an experienced Electrical Lead Hand to join our growing team. This hands-on leadership role suits a motivated electrician who thrives on leading from the front, mentoring others, and delivering high-quality project outcomes.

You will supervise a team on-site, interpret drawings, coordinate resources, and ensure compliance with WHS and Australian standards. This role offers exposure to diverse industrial and commercial projects and clear opportunities for career

Qualifications

• A licensed electrician with proven team leadership on industrial or commercial projects.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Good reading of electrical drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electricians and apprentices on-site to ensure safe, timely delivery.
• Coordinate daily work activities, resources, and materials to meet milestones.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and specs to guide installation.
• Maintain compliance with WHS standards and company procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting during installation and commissioning.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and other trades for smooth execution.

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Lead Hand to join our growing Sydney team.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a motivated electrician who thrives on leading from the front, mentoring others, and delivering high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of electricians and apprentices on-site to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
• Coordinate daily work activities, resources, and materials to meet project timelines and milestones
• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and project specifications to guide installation works
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Australian standards, WHS requirements, and company procedures
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and support to the team during installation and commissioning
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution and communication

Who You Are

• A licensed electrician with proven experience leading teams on industrial or commercial electrical projects
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop team members
• Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Confident in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
• Committed to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
