Job summary

GR Production Services is seeking an E&I Technician to provide safe, reliable electrical and instrumentation maintenance across well site facilities in the Surat Basin. The role involves planned, preventive and breakdown maintenance with a focus on safety, quality and client requirements.

15/13 FIFO/DIDO roster with 10.5-hour shifts, offering pathways to leadership positions. Applicants should hold relevant licences and certificates and be prepared to work autonomously in remote field locations.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician/instrumentation technician with relevant licenses.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance across well site electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Fault finding, diagnostics, testing and repair of electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting field instrumentation, control systems, telemetry and associated equipment.
• Performing electrical installations, modifications and maintenance in accordance with relevant standards, procedures and site requirements.
• Completing routine inspections, testing and calibration of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Responding to breakdowns and maintenance requests across the well field in a timely and professional manner.
• Accurately completing maintenance records, work orders and relevant documentation.
• Working closely with the maintenance and operations teams to minimise equipment downtime and maintain production reliability.
• Identifying potential equipment issues and contributing to preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Understand and comply with HSEQ systems and processes, including Life Saving Rules.

The Role

The role of an E&I Technician you will be responsible for providing safe, reliable and responsive electrical and instrumentation maintenance across well site facilities within the Surat Basin.

Experience:

• Previous experience working on well field maintenance contracts, including preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment


• Ability to work autonomously in remote field locations, with a strong focus on safety compliance, quality and client requirements.


• 3-5 years experience in same or similar position
